UPDATE: I've more than doubled the diameter of the Archimedes screw shaft to make it incredibly durable. I've also added a robust hex boss for the spur gear to attach securely. It should work perfectly with marbles or bearings ranging from 14.5 to 16.5mm in diameter. These parts have a very snug fit with real Lego pieces, thanks to my printer's precision (your results may vary).
