Marble reliefs adorn the St George Anglican Cathedral on St Georges Terrace in Perth's central business district. Consecrated in 1888 at latitude -31.955685 and longitude 115.861196, or coordinates 31° 57’ 19.428” S, 115° 51’ 40.902” E. The Gothic Revival design is amplified by a fusion of local and imported materials, such as jarrah roof trusses and arches sourced from the area, limestone quarried in Fremantle, bricks produced in three different brick yards along the Swan River, bluestone pillars shipped from Victoria, Oregon pine ceilings, marble reredos crafted in Italy with English alabaster inserts, and a Caen stone pulpit carved in France.
