Marble reliefs adorn the St George Anglican Cathedral, situated on St Georges Terrace in Perth's central business district. Consecrated in 1888, its gothic revival design boasts an impressive blend of local materials, such as jarrah roof trusses and arches, with imported elements from Fremantle limestone to Victoria's bluestone pillars. The cathedral also features Oregon pine ceilings, while marble reredos were manufactured in Italy with English alabaster inserts. A Caen stone pulpit, intricately carved in France, adds a touch of elegance to the structure.
