See the whole collection of Ornamental Stones from Norway, dated 2008, measures 10 x 9 x 2 cm in size and is a type of Metamorphic rock. Marble is a medium to coarse-grained, non-foliated rock that has been metamorphosed or recrystallized into a carbonate substance. It is primarily composed of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) with limestone and dolomite minerals also present. Marble plays a crucial role in geology as well as commercial applications due to its importance in building construction both in its raw form and polished slabs. Key essential minerals found in marble include calcite, while non-essential minerals like graphite, pyrite, and ilmenite may occasionally be present. Visit the website at http://geology.uaic.ro/muzee/mineralogie/ for more information. This project was conceptualized and 3D-modeled by Dr. Andrei Ionut APOPEI.
