Marble Machine Lamp
thingiverse
I was 25 hours into a 27 hour print when my printer suddenly lost power. I had been working on printing an insert to hold an outdoor socket, and just as it finished, I felt a surge of excitement as I turned it into a lamp for my grandson's bedroom. The insert itself is designed for a waterproof outdoor socket from Home Depot, which I knew wouldn't get hot enough to melt the PLA material. I had been concerned about this issue, so I made sure to use a safe and reliable option. To see the specific product I used, you can check it out on the Home Depot website at https://www.homedepot.com/p/Leviton-Rubber-Weatherproof-Outdoor-Light-Socket-for-Medium-Base-Incandescent-Bulbs-124-D/301667507
