This majestic marble sculpture serves as a sentinel guarding tombs or grand monuments. Hailing from ancient Greece in 400BC, this colossal marble lion looms larger than life, issuing a stern warning to intruders that disturb the rest of the deceased. During the imperial period, this stunning work was transported to Rome. As part of "Scan The World", we're creating a vast digital repository of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from around the globe for public access at no cost.
