Marble binary tower
thingiverse
I wanted to create my own version of a marble adder with no moving parts. I attempted to design it so that I could stack the adders on top of each other, using 9.5mm balls for this purpose. The towers serve as the digits in a binary number, where the highest tower represents 1 and each subsequent one represents 2, 4, 8, and so on. Adding a ball to the top of a tower is equivalent to performing a +1 operation. I made it without any supports.
