<p>The outdoor temperature sensors that come with the Marathon Atomic Clocks are oddly shaped, not terribly weatherproof, a pain to mount, and are dark grey in color. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This is just a simple casing with vents to allow for easy mounting of the sensor without using the poor mount they provide. &nbsp;Printing it in white also allows for better temperature readings, as it doesn't heat up in sunlight quite so readily, as well as offering it a little more protection from the elements. &nbsp;The lid simply friction fits together into the body.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This was printed in white Overture PETG with a 0.8mm nozzle at 0.4mm layer heights. &nbsp;Could easily be printed at a higher resoution if desired, but probably unnecessary for something like this.</p>
