Mapping Tool - BCN It's a multipurpose package for collecting, processing and visualizing data in the old-fashioned way. Instructions Download the file, open it in your graphic program, and send it to your laser cutter. Just remember, in the dxf file you'll find 4 layers: Streets, Neighborhoods, Districts, and Contours. The layers for engraving are Streets, Neighborhoods, and Districts; the layer for cutting is Contour on cork. You'll also find a layer called Caps, and it's for cutting MDF. You'll get two large circles and two small circles, use glue to stick one big and one small circle together - these pieces will work as caps for the cardboard tube. Materials Cork sheet: 915mm x 610mm x 5mm Mdf sheet: 300mm x 300mm Transparent mica sheet: 610mm x 800mm Cardboard tube with an inner diameter of 100mm Glue Markers, tacks, ropes, etc.
