3D Map of Bijoca Gold Mine. This mine was excavated in Itabirite rock by enslaved workers in the 18th century and is located in Ouro Preto - MG, Brazil. Currently undergoing adaptation for tourist use, it was mapped in 1996 by the Sociedade Excursionista e Espeleológica - SEE / UFOP. The map presents four levels of mining activity with conduit overlaps. This survey refers to levels 3 and 4, originally known as “Mina do Scliar.”
