Combined 3D models from various stages of excavation reveal the Pocklington Iron Age Cart Burial uncovered by MAP Archaeology in 2018. This composite model integrates data from three distinct excavation phases, showcasing two horses buried upright, alongside the cart burial site, where a dark organic area - possibly leather - lies beneath the skeleton. The skeleton rests on the back of a massive shield, while the wheels and axle assembly are prominently displayed. A dense material, identified as part of the cart's body, has been selectively removed to enhance visibility of the excavated section. Although the lower section was recorded in situ, limitations prevented modeling the entire area due to the presence of the wheels and axle assembly.
