Manx cross

Manx cross

myminifactory

This Manx-style cross replica is situated on the Isle of Man, carved in slate with a runic inscription, in the Kirk Braddan graveyard around the 11th century. The island boasts an impressive collection of Manx stone crosses, featuring more than 200 decorated stones - the largest concentration for this period. Early slabs showcase Celtic styles, ranging from simple cross designs to later intricate interlace patterns. Inscriptions written in Celtic lettering and occasionally Latin honor the deceased.
