Manual lift Gravitrax - improved

prusaprinters

This is a remix of another manual gravitrax lift. I was looking for a non-motorized lift, and I found the original model, but had some issues with it. So I refined some parts of the models and created the missing knob from the full model. Perhaps I can save some time for others.I've printed with PLA. The pole can benefit from a brim and I used supports only for the base. I used more walls (3) for the pole to make it a bit stronger, but printing it vertically of course will not be the strongest option. However, if you are careful, then once the full thing is assembled (perhaps glued together), they probably won't break anymore. The dimensions are so that the pole is exactly the same size as the cutout for it, so do consider tuning your settings (flow rate, horizontal expansion for holes, etc.).This model is still not perfect, but my kid enjoys it a lot, so I stopped with the tweaking. :) The base is a little bit high on the bottom, so the balls need to come from an elevated piece, and the knob's cutout could still be improved a bit.
