<p>This simple hand-operated gadget is great for younger kids (and older ones, too!).</p> <p>The Archimedes screw inspires this model. A central screw collects the balls in a chambered column and slowly lifts them to the very top of the maze, where they are released to begin their descent along the tangled path.</p> <p>This model comes in two parts which should be printed separately and then easily assembled. You will need about 5 or 6 8mm steel ball bearings.</p> <p>Depending on your 3D printer you may need a pair of tweezers and some sandpaper to clean the track.</p> <p>We've included detailed print and assembly instructions.
