Manual Adjustable-Tint Sunglasses

<p>These sunglasses allow the amount of tint to be adjusted manually and are great for a garden nap on the hammock. They are designed to hold four linearly polarized lenses. Two stationary in the FRAME and two rotational in the DIALS. Each pair of lenses are separated by the LENS SPACER to minimize the scratching of the lenses during tint adjustment with the DIAL. The EAR is held in place and rotates on the PIN that is glued in place onto the FRAME. The NOSE helps hold the sunglasses comfortably in place and can be printed in NinjaFlex or other soft material for added comfort. The NOSE can be glued in place on the four pins on the rear of the FRAME. Finally, they are designed to use linearly polarized sheet that is 0.5mm or thinner that can be cut to size using the LENS TEMPLATE. The LENS TEMPLATE has notches at 0 and 180 degrees. The lens notches, when cut, engage keys on the FRAME and DIAL to ensure proper alignment during tint adjustment. Alignment of the polarized film is not necessary during cutting, as the dials are free to rotate 360 degrees.</p> <p>The effect that allows the tint to be adjusted is shown In the following video at the 20 second mark. However, in questions, the thickness is described as being as thick as "a sheet of card stock" which appears to be within the requirements of the printed assembly.
