I began crafting intricate forms using algorithms that would normally defy conventional design. With Rhino 3D and Grasshopper's generative modeling capabilities, I first brought to life a remarkably lifelike manta ray model, followed by additional algorithms that replicated and positioned each ray with precision, resulting in this stunning printable lamp. The design allows for the lamp to be printed in two separate parts, which can then be easily assembled using superglue. Furthermore, the bulb fitting is seamlessly integrated into the design, making it essential to utilize a low-temperature filament bulb or an LED bulb for optimal results.
