Manta Ray 3D Block Zoo

Manta Ray 3D Block Zoo

thingiverse

I was inspired by the 3D Printing Professor's first 3D Block Zoo entry. That entry was on thingiverse.com, specifically http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1927926. I wanted to create similar blocks using FreeCAD instead of Tinkercad. To print these blocks successfully, I suggest using supports and printing with a 10% infill at a 0.2 mm layer height. My designs are being checked with the new version of NetFabb, which I'm using for this purpose. The automatic repair option was enabled when loading the files into NetFabb, even though some of them may not necessarily need it. They all have "(repaired)" after their names just in case they do require it. If you're interested in 3D Printing, please visit my website at http://phelps3d.co for more information on this topic.
