Manta m8p Extruded Aluminum Mount
thingiverse
I decided to finally upgrade my Anet A8 (now a metal AM8) to have a Manta M8P as the controller board instead of the stock fire hazard Anet board. However, I could not find any simple mounts for this board that screw into extruded aluminum anywhere on the internet, only mounts for vorons. No support material is required, and PLA can be used, please use at least 40% infill. First, install the mount onto the extruded aluminum using M5 Screws and T-slot nut. After it is secure, install the Manta M8P using four M3 screws. Screw in all four loosely first to make lining up the screw holes easier, then go back and tighten them. This design can be improved, but it is just meant to be a simple mount to get you up and running. I will most likely design a nicer, full enclosure in the near future.
