Mansions of Madness Second Edition: Insert for Base Game and All Main Expansions

Edit 6/29/2024: Thanks to feedback from users Vee and MiniVoeter I've made some changes and updates to the insert! First, it's taken me a while but I've finally designed a complete set of hexagon lids for all existing lidded containers. I've labeled the hexagon lids as option 1 on the file notes and the existing lids as option 2. You only need to print 1 lid per container so take your pick!Second, the current card tray barely has enough space for all the cards. I was looking at the Monster Mini Box and decided I had enough room in front of the small minis for another card tray. This has 2 slots for cards (I put the damage and horror cards in this tray) and another space for clue tokens. This seems to be enough room for all of the clue tokens. They're spread across 3 different containers but it works! With the damage and horror cards now in this tray, the common Items and spell cards can now be split into 2 slots. I split both decks at “M" for fairly even piles. The two new files are labeled “MofM - Monsters - Card Tray Monster Box” and “MofM - Monsters - Card Tray Lid Monster Box.” I've placed them at the top of the files so they are easy to find. That's all for this update! I've included some pictures of the new modes for reference. Please continue to let me know if I can do anything to improve the insert and I'll see what I can do. It's been great to see everyone's makes so keep them coming! Edit 7/29/2023: I added a new version of Character Minis 1. I changed it so that the opening size for the mini base is the same as Character Minis 2. Hopefully this means that any character mini can fit into any slot. I have acquired enough Mansions of Madness Second Edition expansions that it was time to make an insert. I couldn't find a complete insert that I liked so I decided to make my own. I drew heavy inspiration from BChaps insert for the designs to hold the cards and tokens. You can find BChaps design here.Mansions of Madness Second EditionStreets of ArkhamBeyond the ThresholdSanctum of TwilightHorrific JourneysPath of the SerpentI do not have the Horrific Journeys expansion yet so those game components don't show up in any of my pictures.  However I designed this insert in a way that will still fit everything that comes from that expansion. I don't play this game frequently enough to sleeve our cards so this design does not fit sleeved cards.  Here are some pointers that may help you as you print and put together this insert. The Improvement, NPC, and Round Token Containers have snap on lids.  The little snap parts are not symmetrical for both sides of the lid so make sure you line them up with the correct holes.  I find it easiest to get them to snap on when I put one side in first and then gently pull the other side of the lid away from the container while I snap it into place. The Monster Bases, Tile, and Token containers have slide on lids.  The Monster Bases Lid has walls printed in the middle of the lid to help keep the monster bases in the bottom container. Its lid can only slide on one way because of those walls. The Tile and Token Containers can slide on either way.The Base Game Box has two containers for monster minis.  The rest of the monster minis are stored in an expansion box (it doesn't matter which). My picture does not show it but the medium monster container has room for two of the minis from the Horrific Journeys expansion. The expansion box stores the rest of the monster minis. The two smallest Horrific Journey minis should fit in the Small Minis Container.  The largest Horrific Journeys mini and the two medium sized ones should fit in the empty spot in the picture.  If the large Horrific Journeys mini is too large for that location you can switch it with the Lloigor from the base game box. It should fit there. The Small Minis Container uses the monster tokens to separate the minis. This is the most fiddly of all of the containers. The Ghost, Skeletons, and Child of Dagon are all small enough that they fall horizontal in the container. Because that makes them a pain to get out, I keep them towards the front of the container for easier extraction. The Riot minis are also a pain.  They fill the back spaces on both sides.  The Shovel Riot mini fits in a spot just like all the other small minis. The Axe and Baseball Bat Riot minis lay horizontal in the two raised platforms behind were you put the Shovel Riot mini. The Monster Minis Divider 3 has a lid to help keep those monster minis in place. Otherwise they are too small and fall out of their spots. The 3 Monster Mini Dividers all have slots to connect them together. You will not need to glue them together. They will stay where they are supposed to once everything is slotted in together. When I store the boxes Vertically, I place the Cards in the Base Game box and the Small Minis in the Monster box on the bottom. It just helps those components stay in their place. I have flipped both boxes upside down and everything has stayed in place. However I just like to be cautious. The Character Minis 2 container has a wall that is taller on one side. This taller wall should be in the middle of the box. Its purpose is to help keep the long board in place over the card tray. The Character Minis 2 container also has wider areas for the bases of the character minis than the Character Minis 1 container.  I just found that not all of the bases for the character minis were the same so some larger areas were needed. If you find a mini can't fit in Character Mini 1, it should fit in Character Mini 2.Finally, I have found that putting things into the Base Game box in a specific order (and getting them out in the opposite order) helps with the limited space your hands have to get the containers in and out. My order is:BoardsCharacter Cards (You can put these in once half of the board containers are placed, and then finish putting in the rest of the board containers).Monster BasesRound TokensTokensDiceLarge MonsterCards Character Minis 1Character Minis 2TilesNPCsImprovement TokensMedium MonstersLong BoardRulebooks. If you have any questions feel free to let me know! Any suggestions would also be appreciated. I am brand new to design and would love any feedback. If you end up printing this design please post it here on Printables as a Make. I would love to see it!Designed using onshapePrinter: Elegoo Neptune 3Filament: Sunlu Pla +Layer Height: .4mmNo Supports Needed
