Manfrotto Tripod MT055CXPRO3 Spike Holder

For my landscape photography I needed spikes for my carbon fiber Manfrotto tripod. Manfrotto does offer a set of spikes that fit, however I did not like the idea of screwing the rubber feet up and down since I see a risk of not doing that properly and scratching the floor. On Amazon I found spikes (Photecs® Stativ Spike) with a G 3/8" thread that come with a rubber cover. However, any spike with a G 3/8 thread will do, like this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3PCS-3-8-Screw-Stainless-Steel-Tripod-Monopod-Foot-Spike-Rubber-For-Gitzo-Benro/302471654398?hash=item466cb72bfe:g:pjEAAOSwEkhZzuW1 The easiest way would have been to design a cylinder with a G 3/8" thread that will be glued into the tube of the tripod legs. However, I wanted to have a non-destructive solution that comes close to the original attachable spikes from Manfrotto. The part will work with any tube with 20.4 mm in diameter. I added the Fusion 360 design so that you may alter the diameter to fit your tripod leg. Just be aware that I am not a design master. I am sure a lot of you can do a smarter job to design this part. This part can be detached any time. I was happy to see that the 3/8" thread worked really well. Snug fit. I already ordered 3/8" nuts, that I might fit in but that proved not to be necessary.
