I was eager to attach my Manfrotto Compact Xtreme monopod/selfistick to my Pixi Evo tripod, creating a compact base for 360-degree shooting. The monopod came equipped with a ballhead featuring a round thread plate that I didn't need, so I decided to permanently fix it to the adaptor using superglue. I'm confident in the accuracy of my measurements, although I did have to adjust them by 12% on my Up! Mini to ensure a proper fit. Additionally, I added some sticky velcro with a soft side to provide extra friction and protect the handle from wear and tear.
