Manfrotto 804rc2 replacement handle (Manfrotto R804,99)

<p>This model prints a “handle grip” around a 60mm x M8 bolt, enabling you to tighten the bolt with ease and without extra tools.</p><p>I designed it to fit the photo head of Manfrotto 804rc2, as the original 3 screws were lost, and I didn't want to <a href="https://uscamera.com/product/manfrotto-r80499-handle-set/">pay $40 for replacement parts</a>, when a standard M8 bolt would do (total cost less than $4).</p><p>You need:</p><ol><li>M8 bolt (fully threaded) x 60mm length</li><li>M7/M8 rubber washer/gasket (insert between handle and tripod for a smooth connection)</li><li>3x M3 x 11mm bolts, no countersink</li></ol><p>I chose 60mm for the bolt length, which results in a rather stubby and short grip, which is still usable. Modify the included design file, if you want a longer bolt and handle.</p><h4>Printing notes</h4><ul><li>Print the base standing up on its narrow end, with a brim. No supports are needed</li><li>Print cap “the right side up”, with supports on the underside (side cutouts don't need them)</li><li>20% infill / 0.15 / 0.20 layer height</li><li>Print time 2h20m</li></ul>
