Manfrotto 785B to peak design tripod adapter
thingiverse
Adapter to mount a square Peak Design capture plate on the wedge shaped Manfrotto 785B head socket. This is a combination of the two designs I listed in the remix section. I added a cut for the safety pin of the manfrotto head to lock onto, and a safety screw that comes up from the bottom of the plate to prevent back sliding of the camera. To be honest the fit is already pretty tight in the one I printed but I figured that wear can change that overtime, and the pull-down "tab" of the original design broke as soon as I touched it (maybe wrong material)... anyways, I figured that a screw would be more reliable if I don't lose it ^.^' In the file you will also find separate STLs fro the thread and knob separately, as you may need to tweak the diameter of the thread in order to get the correct clearance to fit the hole without being too loose or jamming. I also added a slim version of the screw with a minimal knob and a slot for using a coin to turn it, because at least on my tripod, the bigger knob gets in the way of pushing the adapter all the way into the Manfrotto socket. With this workaround I can affix the adapter to the camera, close the screw, and slide the whole thing in without bumping into anything. Sorry for not including a parametric design, it is all done in tinkercad which is all I m capable of using for the moment.
