I was thrilled to create some bespoke bingo markers, and a good fortune kitty was an obvious starting point. I enlarged this one a bit, and added some framework in the base to snugly fit on top of the daubers sold at my local bingo hall (Dabbin' Fever brand). This may or may not work for your marker. This resulted in a very secure fit, requiring no adhesive or anything, but I can still unscrew/rewrap the cap easily enough with it on. Just as I had hoped!
