Maneki-neko De-Capicat Head
thingiverse
I acquired my initial 3D printer, an Ender 2, ideal for a compact space, and after assembling it, I was prepared to start printing. Therefore, I decided to attempt the g-code included on the SD card that came with the device. The outcome was a de-Capicat due to insufficient sample filament to complete the print, which wasn't unexpected. Consequently, I searched for the STL file on Thingiverse and discovered the "CR-10 Cat File" by Elproducts (www.thingiverse.com/thing:2643326) and modified it in Fusion 360 to fit the cat's body. There are two versions available; one features in-model supports for easier slicing. It fit perfectly into my de-Capicat, but I cannot guarantee its suitability for other printers since it was designed specifically for mine. Not a particularly useful print, yet I couldn't resist the idea of completing the incomplete cat body. If you decide to print this, feel free to share your results! I'm curious to know how many people ended up with a de-Capicat as their first 3D printed object.
