Mandolorian - Din Djarin Leg/Chest Cartridges and Painting Jig STL

These are high resolution files that will work with both SLA and FDM printing. This file contains the blaster and rifle cartridges from the show The Mandolorian, used by Din Dajarin. Included with the cartridges is also the STLs to print two different painting jigs, in which you can paint 4 of them at a time per jig. One of the challenges I found in painting them was where to hold or support them while painting. This jig holds them inside of the recessed grooves. You can paint the main body of the cartridge, rotate them by the ends, then paint the ends. Allow them to dry inside of the jig. The leg cartridge measures 19mm x 76mm. The chest cartridge is 15/17mm x 76mm. In the photos, the gray cartridges are directly off an EPAX X1 printer. The final painted product was very lightly wet sanded with 400 grit, no primer, gloss black, and chrome painted with a final clear coat. They require minimal prep in order to paint. The tray is intended for FDM, but can work on SLA as well. Please contact with any questions.
