I picked up an old bowl-back mandolin, which had somehow managed to lose its front strap button at some point in its past. That's particularly troublesome with a round instrument like this one. Finally, I took action! Instead of just replacing the button, I designed a strap hook that fits neatly under the strings on the headstock.
