Mandalorian Helmet T-Visor Brace
thingiverse
This is a brace to stabilize the gap between the cheek plates in a Mandalorian helmet. The gap creates a flex point where the helmets are prone to cracking & breaking. It can be attached with JB Weld or other strong adhesives. Holes are there for using other fasteners of your choice. The center is raised to allow the visor to be placed in front of the bracket so it is unseen in the finished helmet. This was sized for the gap in my own helmet so you may have to adjust it in your own modeling software to fit yours. The Mythosaur skull was added as an extra detail just to do a color swap on my printer. But you can print it all one color. Make sure to "Print Thin Walls" because the skull is pretty small. I printed this at 0.12 resolution. The skull is only 2 layers thick so if you want, just stop the print if you don't want it. Post a pic if you print this. I really want to see them.
