The remnants of the Beyond's Lords still linger in the ravaged landscape they left behind, a desolate strip of ghost towns, crumbling buildings, and ancient temples. Whispers spread throughout our world about hidden treasures, powerful artifacts, and fantastical relics buried within these forsaken places. Brave adventurers, driven by ambition and greed, have begun to venture into this treacherous terrain in search of fortune and glory. Organized into small bands, they face numerous dangers as they navigate the ruins. This is the premise of Scavengers, a skirmish game set in the devastated lands, where you lead a group of daring explorers through the shadows. Extracted from Alabar Chronicle's, A Scavenger's Guide to Our World Introduction Scavengers is a tabletop miniature war game designed for fast-paced combat with fantasy and steampunk figures. Two players engage in small-scale battles with five to ten miniatures on each side (a hero and their loyal companions). The game is easy to learn, but mastering its intricacies takes time and practice. The game's designers based it around three core principles: a) Players can choose from a wide range of 3D models or use any miniatures in their collection. This flexibility allows the game to be free from manufacturer-specific constraints. However, downloading our 3D models is encouraged, as they are available for both free and paid versions. b) The focus of Scavengers remains on the miniatures themselves. At its core, miniature gaming should be about the figures (and having fun). c) A rich background story is essential to the game's success. We will continue to develop new units, histories, and scenarios. Your input is invaluable in shaping the game's future; please share your suggestions for improvement. We hope you enjoy playing Scavengers and have a blast! One important note: this core rulebook represents our initial vision, but we plan to release additional books to further enhance the game experience. Take a look at Orc War Triceratops, an impressive figure that stands out on any battlefield. Printing one for each stand is recommended. Our gaming website will soon feature our core book, in-depth lore, and many exciting new features. Note: You don't need a base for this massive model.
