Mamuthone Mask
thingiverse
Another Sardinian carnival mask (from Mamoiada), the Mamuthone carries a heavy load of cattle bells, forcing it to walk along the parade with a slow and dull pace, remaining completely silent (and its torn, black mask further stresses its "mood"). The origin of the mask is uncertain. Some scholars believe it represents a totem ritual, celebrating the taming of bulls. Others hold that they might be related to some ancient nuragic rites, held in honor of agriculture and nature gods. Starting from Kongorilla's low poly mask, I created a Mamuthone mask that comes in three flavors: a big mask (about 6 cm in height), a pendant (3 cm) and earrings (2 cm in height each). The pendant and earrings walls are thicker to make them sturdier. Material color: mandatory black. ### Print Settings --------------------------------------- **Printer:** Anet A8 **Supports:** Required, to buildplate. **Resolution:** 0.2 for a "low resolution effect", 0.1 for smoother results **Infill:** Doesn't matter
