SHCMS:G.10678 Mammuthus primigenius. A well-preserved left cuboid bone of the adult Shropshire Mammoth, carefully extracted for examination. The cuboid is a crucial bone in the foot, specifically located in the left hind leg of this majestic creature. Approximately 14,000 years old, this fossilized bone measures 10.5cm in length, 10cm in width, and 5cm in depth. To capture its intricate details, a Canon 5DS R camera was used in conjunction with a Stackshot 3x lens and a turntable to take 108 high-quality images. These images were then expertly processed using Agisoft Photoscan at the highest levels of resolution.
