If your notch gets worn out on the older Mamaroo 4M-005-00 model (parts no longer made), this is the fix for you. You need to remove the old nob, predrill holes in both parts and the arm, then screw them together securely with glue holding everything in place. This solution worked perfectly for me, so feel free to ask if you have any questions or concerns.
