Mama's House
thingiverse
Using Tinkercad, some photos, and childhood memories, I recreated my childhood home nearly to scale. Bedrooms, closets, and even a ping pong table are featured in this imaginative rendition. Scaling down the house is not recommended, as some tiny details would be lost along the way. I printed the house for my mom using my temperamental Kossel Mini and gave the design of this house to my younger brother, accompanied by this little poem: If your travels take you far away, your home stays close every day. When homesickness hits, may the sight of it ease your pain somehow. Even if we no longer own it, what we remember will always be ours. Perhaps this will inspire others to recreate their own homes. I shared more details on how I designed this and the models can be found on Tinkercad: Base of mama's house and Roof of mama's house.
