This adapter is designed specifically for filament spool holders on your Malyan M180 printer, although it should also work with other designs that share its architecture. The intention is to be compatible with ESUN Filament sold at hobbyking as well as a similar item found on eBay, provided the inside diameter of their rolls falls within the range of 46mm to 65mm. It's unfortunate that some printer designs may not actually accommodate their corresponding filaments, which I discovered when I ordered an ESUN roll with a standard spool. Therefore, for users with this exact model (60mm), or even larger (65mm), this adapter has been made available to resolve such compatibility issues. A file accommodating the latter is available for reference as well. If you look closely at your 3D printer settings, you'll find that the printed part's thickness comes in at 25mm after completion, which can serve as a guideline when checking the scale. Please be aware, however, that this project encountered a software issue; saving to correct scale would prove unsuccessful due to an apparent glitch within the application itself. To successfully complete your print, you'll need to upscale this design tenfold until the spool base has achieved a diameter of 60mm or 65mm based on whichever model's specifications match up with what version file is used. Printing details: 20% infill was applied using PLA filament, at 0.2mm layer thickness and a speed setting of 60mm/s, performed using the Kossel Mini. With settings from Cura that incorporate large base area printing directly onto bed support. Time spent on completing this task stood at 1hr and ten minutes.
