Malyan M180 Dual Fan Blower
thingiverse
This dual fan blower is a remix of a popular design by Acefx and incorporates some brand new features. Four small slots on the underside of the duct are designed for the insertion of M3 nuts. Hexagon pockets on the top edge of the duct locate M3 nuts for the top fan screws. There's enough clearance between the top row of M3 nuts and the extruder fan grills to remove the extruder assembly with ease. A spare 12V fan lead is located inside the printer enclosure, which I routed back inside the base of the printer and up through the black plastic cable protector that connects with the extruder assembly. JST connectors are used on the blower fans to allow for easy disconnection when removing the extruder assembly from its carriage. It's designed to be used with two 40x40mm fans. If you're using covers supplied by Malyansys, it may be necessary to reduce the y-axis movement in your starting script to avoid fan interference with the front cover (a few millimeters). This part was designed and tested in conjunction with my LED light bar and the mounting profile is exactly the same.
