Malyan M180 and Flexion Dual Extruder X-Carriage
thingiverse
I rewired the X-carriage from axelfrom because I preferred utilizing the Igus RJ4JP 01-08 slide bearings. When mounting these bearings, it's essential to acknowledge that they are perfectly parallel; to confirm this, I checked the x-rod. If the rod glides smoothly and the x-carriage drops freely when placed vertically, a small amount of medium superglue can be used to secure the bearings. I also rotated the hotend blocks by 90 degrees to increase space between them for cable management, necessitating a widening of the inner opening as a result. Given that the hotend blocks are still relatively close to the x-carriage, I applied an aluminum tape to the x-carriage for additional support. To minimize the support structure, I printed the x-carriage upside down and closed the fixing holes on top with one layer, as printing these holes directly onto the support material can produce unsightly results.
