The simple part goes around the Y tightener, keeping it straight. This allows an idler pulley to be screwed onto the bottom with an M4 screw and semi-trapped traveling nut, enabling belt tightening. I'm using GT2 pulleys on new Z motors, swapping original ones for dual-shaft models with a GT2 idler on the printed part and 2GT-852 closed belts. Each motor is driven by its own driver linked to the same step/dir pins, ensuring they never go out of sync even if one tries to skip a step. After this mod, raise your printer on feet about 15-20mm high. I printed https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2901984 from TPU to get it up and reduce vibrations. Printing in non-flexible material is pointless; using four wooden blocks is cheaper, but if you have some TPU, it will reduce sound coming from your printer.
