Malyan M150 Leveling M3 NylocThumbwheel
thingiverse
This is a Bed Leveling Thumbwheel for the Malyan M150. It's designed to clear front and back rails, providing maximum grip leverage on M3 nylock nuts. Using these nuts on bed leveling posts keeps the level tuned in longer, resulting in consistent first layer adhesion. Print with 50% infill for added strength. Four thumbwheels are required. Additional hardware needed includes four M3 nyloc nuts and four M3 washers. The tolerances in this print are precise. Verify the hole is clear before installing the thumbwheel using an M3 screw. Push a flat-side-first M3 nylock nut into place with a suitable tool until fully seated. Install an M3 washer between the top of the thumbwheel and the bottom of the aluminum sub plate. Re-level the bed, and it should now stay level much longer. This file has been modified to clear Y axis Home Limit Switch mounting screws, requiring significant reduction in size to accommodate potential bowing of bed posts. Smaller thumbwheels still allow manual turning of M3 Nylocs without tools. The original larger file works only on front posts. The tricky parts involve clearing the hole with an M3 screw before attempting installation and forcing the Nyloc past a thick first layer.
