Maltese Cross Fidget Spinner
thingiverse
I'm a FireFighter and was asked to come up with something for my house to give out to kids. I've come up with a couple of designs so far. The large ones are quite big, measuring about 94mm in diameter, but small children may struggle to spin them effectively. On the other hand, the smaller versions will work well for them. So far, I prefer using the large 8 nut and the small 608 bearing. However, I'm not a kid myself! If you're interested in trying out spinners, I really like one that I came up with - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2266290. To make it work, use one of these bearings in the center (after removing the dust shield and cleaning with WD40) - http://amzn.to/2p0Va7R. And for the perimeter, three of these bearings will do the trick - http://amzn.to/2odxik1. All of my nut models use 5/16 nuts - http://amzn.to/2pzcJva.
