This PLA mallet I will use to remove models from the build plate. The hollow of the mallet head I filled with Kinetic Sand. Acts just like a dead blow hammer, no rebound. The diameter of 1.0 inch allows a furniture black rubber tip to be slid over each end. This helps protect the model being removed.
