Statues of men adorned with crowns crafted from lush green leaves are the most prevalent depictions of male devotees found in Cyprus dating back to around 600 BC until Roman times. These leafy diadems may allude to the cult of Apollo, especially as worshippers are often depicted holding branches of similar flora.
