Male SMA-connector

Male SMA-connector

I like to play around with RF, so I'm often building my own antennas. SMA-connectors are surprisingly difficult to get. Models that are easy to integrate into a certain model are even more difficult to get. That's why I created this simple and printable male SMA connector. I use it in my prototype-antennas and it works great! The picture shows a 433MHz dipole I made. Simply solder 2 separate header pins to two wires. These pins will fit into the holes provided in this design. The outer pin will touch the SMA-thread, connecting it to GND. The inner pin will fit nicely into the SIG-hole on the female-side. A tiny amount of glue on the backside of the model will keep the header pins from sliding out. Enjoy!
