This highly detailed male head model, created with 3ds Max 2013, is rendered using mental ray. It can be used in design visualizations, advertising, game cut scenes, presentations, etc. The model consists of 12 objects, including the head, eyes, eyebrows, and eyelashes. At subdivision 0, it has around 4,083 polygons for the head and 720 for each eye. When subdivided, these figures increase to 32,560 and 5,760 respectively. The product was rendered without external plugins and uses SSS material for a realistic look. Hair is made with separate planes using Hair and Fur modifier. Textures are in 8192x8192 resolution for the head and 4096x4096 for the eyes, both in .png format. The model is built in real-world scale (units in cm) and suits male models around 180cm/5.9 feet height. All parts are reasonably named and easy to find within the scene.
