Male character Foma Free 3D model

Here's our first male character, Foma, a young and energetic 3D actor on the hunt for his next big gig in a game or cartoon movie. He's free to go! Foma is based on the Make Human mesh, which we imported into 3D Studio MAX 2019, tweaked, and rigged (skin + biped). With the morph modifier applied, Foma has basic phonemes and expressions. Foma's biped comes equipped with twist links for forearms, upper arms, thighs, and calves, plus two bones to correct those pesky hip deformations. Unfortunately, we can't do skin morphs because FBX doesn't support them. However, those extra hip bones are super easy to animate - just make 'em slide up and down along Foma's biped spine. It's not a perfect solution, but it works like a charm! And the best part? Thighs don't poke through his belly :). Foma also comes with some impressive manly attributes, featuring four bones that let him move flexibly in any 3D situation. Want to expose or hide those parts under some clothes? Easy peasy! In addition to his default getup, Foma's got a fully rigged jacket, pants, underwear, and boots - the whole shebang! Unfortunately, the boots don't have morphs, but hey, at least he's dressed to impress :). Now, about that mouth - it's all wired up and ready for action. In addition to basic morphs, Foma's got some extra goodies like separate skin modifiers on his tongue and brow wires. Compatibility-wise, Foma is fully compatible with Cyber Sculpture models, scale for scale, style for style. Yay! Want a sneak peek? The scene includes a demo animation all nicely layered up and organized. Plus, we threw in some 3DS MAX 2016 goodness for those who might need it, along with FBX, which we tested in Unity. In terms of materials, Foma's rocking eight Multi/SubObject mats with Sub-Materials that are completely standard. Almost all textures are handmade and simple (with the exception of hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes - yeah, we used some Make Human originals for those!). Now, let's get down to the nitty-gritty: - 25,946 polys - 26,612 verts - Scanline renderer (don't you just love that term?) - Zero third-party plugins - Mixed UVmapping Foma stands about 185 cm tall - give or take a little. But hey, who's counting? Oh wait, he does come with an animatable helmet and a fancy visor that can open and close! That alone is worth the price! We've got more of Foma's buddies coming your way (at super cheap prices - just you wait!).
