This remix of dan0nator's great model is a true masterpiece. I admired the original model immensely, but it lacked a few essential details that I felt were crucial. First and foremost, scale was a major issue - I scaled mine to an exact 1:1 ratio, which allowed for a length of approximately 15 inches from end to end. Additionally, I wanted to incorporate the thumb lever and T detail above the magazine, as these features added a level of realism that was missing in the original design. Lastly, I opted for the Firefly Series style magazine, rather than the double angled version featured in the Serenity movie model. This gave my remix a distinct look and feel that was more in line with the Firefly universe.
