Malahit SDR case
thingiverse
Malahit SDR portable radio case, board version compatibility - see the included board picture. Powered by one 18650 cell with hard-switch to reduce self-distachrge. The cell is mounted in the 3d printed bracket so it won't get loose in the case. Used speaker - 4cm neodymium 4ohm, 3W full range driver, but you can use other similar sized speakers. Little tricky to glue that in, since you mount the Malahit board first. Printing: Warning. Set scaling 10x bigger. 1. Print the case on the side with holes facing down (~ 3h 0.3mm, 2 perimeters, 30% infill) 2. Print the cover also on the side facing down (~ 40min 0.3mm, 2 perimeters, 30% infill) Assembly: 1. Connect the wires - speaker, Malahit board, 18650cell and the switch. 2. Mount in the switch. 3. Slide the Malahit board in the case slots. 4. Glue in the speaker 5. Slide 18650 to the cover bracket and screw it to the rest of the case.
