Mal's Model B Pistol TV
pinshape
This is my take on Mal's Model B Pistol, a TV version that requires some serious assembly. I started by giving mine a coat of satin black paint. Next, I used pewter rub n' buff to get the steel-colored core and thumbscrews looking just right. The rest of the pistol got an Autumn Gold treatment with rub n' buff. I finished off the grips with espresso spray paint and added some pewter rub n' buff to the screw heads for a nice touch. To give it some character, I weathered the pistol with black acrylic washes on the body and tan acrylic washes on the grips. The screws got a simple outer finish in STL, which you can see in the pics. If you want more detail, check out the revised screws STL file, which has knurling built right into it.
