I liked the overall design aspects of the source, I added some changes for functionality; Lightened the chassis a bit here and there, added holes for the LED wires to pass to camera bay, added some zip tie slots to secure any equipment in the forward section behind the camera bay. I am printing the complete file ATM, will post assembled pictures soon. I may have to redesign the tail section some , but I will hold out hope that it works as the designer intended. I hope you like my remix and check back for any revisions as I R & D this bad boy! Edited file shortly after I uploaded it to fix a few little errors I saw, should be all good now! I just added a new revision on the arms, much lighter and better thrust pass through! 12-18: The chassis printed good for a mockup, but I think I will change perimeters to 2 to help fill around the holes better, along with a slight infill increase to 40 next try. All other parts are printing now, if only my equipment were to arrive! ;( 12-19: After printing all the components the weight comes in at 100 grams!....very heavy so...Again I have redesigned the frame and other components as to shave off grams. While I was in there I completely redesigned the tail section using a 5x10 bearing in the rear mount to help the rotation quality of the tail motor mount, which now is secured to the servo plate by 2 screws. The shaft and servo plate are indexed. Chassis was also redesigned to accommodate new tail section and now needs no supports. I am printing a new set for further R & D...Cheers Update: Updated Chassis and all components now weigh 70 grams, much better now! Update 12-22: I re-designed the tail section again using some parts from the Triforce design. I think this one is going to be the beta, only 58 grams for the whole craft now; ABS @ 30% infill and very strong. So enjoy and Happy Holidays! Printer: My H-bot Dual on Mega/RAMPS 1.4 Rafts: No Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: .28 Infill: 30 Notes: Print the first few layers SLOW!, then increase it to normal once you have a good level start.
