Makita Track Saw (XPS01Z) Systainer Insert
thingiverse
I was frustrated that the vacuum molded insert for my Makita cordless tracksaw systainer was falling apart. In addition it resulted in a lot of empty space in the box. This is a work-in-progress that I modeled very quickly to serve a purpose so its not very refined but I have been asked to make the design available so I am posting it here. This is a WORK IN PROGRESS and WILL NEED TO BE MODIFIED TO PRINT. It was too large for my print volume (Prusa Mk3S) so I simply sliced it in Fusion360 into four quadrants and used a bit of epoxy to hold the pieces together. They didn't necessarily need to be attached as they fit pretty solidly in the box but a bit of adhesive prevents knocking them around when the saw is not holding them down. I am including both the Fusion360 file and a STEP file so you can modify as you see fit. If I were to spend more time on this I would probably make the pieces interlock, but what I have works just fine for now.
