My Makita SK102 laser level battery case shattered, and I lost it. This is a fresh approach that incorporates a tiny slide lock mechanism to secure it in place, and so far, it seems stable. I created a printout with instructions on how to fabricate the new electric contacts required to complete the battery circuit. To achieve this, I utilized copper desoldering braid that I soldered together to form the tracks. Additionally, I inserted a small piece into the level contact point to facilitate easier connection. My homemade track was then glued onto the new cover, and it functions perfectly. I hope the accompanying images adequately illustrate this process; if you have any questions or need further clarification, please don't hesitate to leave a comment.
